Method
We use published frameworks rather than methods of our own. What belongs to us is the order in which we apply them and the judgement about what is worth doing first.
Three rules
Published frameworks, not proprietary models
A small company gains nothing from a maturity model invented by its adviser. It cannot compare the result with anything, it cannot verify the method, and it cannot take the output anywhere else. Every service on this site is built on a framework that is public, free, and written by someone other than us.
Every statement has a verifiable object
Everything on this site rests on one of three things: a public document you can open, a figure with its source, or a concrete description of what we deliver. Anything that fails that test is not written. It is a narrow rule and it removes most of what consultancy websites usually contain.
We say no when the answer is no
The eligibility check comes before the application, and the preconditions come before the project. Telling a company early that something is not available to it is worth more than the fee for doing it badly.
The frameworks we use
| Framework | Used for | Source |
|---|---|---|
| Digital Maturity Assessment questionnaire | Establishing the starting position across six areas | European Commission |
| Voluntary reporting standard for non-listed SMEs | Answering sustainability data requests from customers and banks | EFRAG, recommended by the European Commission |
| Regulation (EU) 2023/2831 on de minimis aid | Checking remaining headroom before any funding application | European Commission |
| GEO 155/2024, transposing the NIS2 directive | Scope determination and the required security measures | Romanian legislation, National Cyber Security Directorate |
| DigComp 3.0 | Mapping roles to digital competence areas | Joint Research Centre, European Commission |
| GreenComp | Common language for sustainability competences | Joint Research Centre, European Commission |
Each service page links to the official source of the framework it uses, so you can read it without us.
What we are not
- Not a European Digital Innovation Hub. We use the open version of the Commission's questionnaire; results we produce are not recorded in any European system.
- Not a certification body, for any standard or framework.
- Not auditors. Nothing we deliver is an audit in the technical sense, whatever the work is commonly called.
- Not a software vendor or reseller. We describe requirements; we do not sell what meets them.
How this site is kept accurate
Legal references and figures go out of date, and a consultancy site that cites an expired rule is worse than one that cites nothing.
- Every page carries the month in which its legal references were verified.
- Every factual statement on the site is recorded once, with its source and the pages it appears on, so that when a rule changes we know what has to be rewritten.
- No calendars of open calls, no deadlines, no current budget figures. Anything that expires within twelve months is left to the official source.
- Where sources disagree, we say so on the page instead of choosing the version that reads better.
The site is written first in English and then adapted into Romanian, because both audiences matter and a translation made in a hurry shows. Terms that exist only in Romanian law are fixed in Romanian first; their English rendering on this site is explanatory, not an equivalent.
What comes next
If this is the way you want to work, the usual starting point is the digital maturity assessment. If you already know what you need, the four service pages say what each one includes and what it does not.
The frameworks listed on this page were verified in September 2026.
